It all started back in 1863, when this Salvadoran coffee industry pioneer with great effort and determination planted the first coffee trees in the Apaneca Mountains. Carefully selecting the appropiate spots,considering the conditions (climate and altitude), were the basic premises for this quality coffee, complementing with hard work, his heart and soul, total devotion that started the coffee activity. The farm Santa Maria is 100% Bourbón coffee and is planted under shadow. All its agricultural procedures, for production, picking, and milling are absolutely natural. This garantee the quality of our coffee and we contribute protecting our environmet, water resources, flora and fauna of our country. Santa Maria farm is located at the Illamatepec /Apaneca Range, at Taltapanca town, Apaneca. Altitude: 1200 mtrs. It has ORIGEN CERTIFICATION and has been Cup of Excellence winner previously. We are in charge of all the chain of production, milling and exporting. We believe that is the best way to garantee the quality of our coffee.
