The farm is located at 22 kilometers from Ocotal City, with a very pleasant mountains climate with an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level in range Dipilto-Jalapa range, just to 1.5 km from Nicaragua and Honduras border, the farm has flora and fauna of the area to protect the environment 100%.
Tell us the story of your Farm:
Buy it with 3 blocks in Suyatal community, Macuelizo, in 1980 the farm, was then abandoned and with effort and succeeded in developing the own and currently has 6 blocks of coffee production; with varieties of Pacamara and Caturra, with a farm management tech-semi with diversified shade, currently produce 120 quintals.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
For me, it has been put to good use in cutting and pulping time, also the fermentation time often performed at 18 hours to Caturra and 20 hours for Mara. I transfer my coffee to benefit personally achieving a better quality.
How do you feel to be a winner?
First, blessed by God, glad for all the effort of not only myself also my family and the company (mill) that benefits our coffee.
What do you think of the Cup of Excellence?
Its great that helps us learn about coffee and improve the economy of our country putting high to Nicaragua n producer and let it know that Nicaragua offers a good coffee.
