Approximately 80 years ago, Vicente Gómez and María Reyes acquired land in the village Sanguayaba, Palencia. Over the years, they took the decision to share them in heritage. And that was how José Gómez receives from his parents, which are now his lands.
This is how the journey begins. It started with crops of potatoes and corn. Later it worked with dairy cattle, but was desisted because several cows was dying because they were falling in the mountains.
Disappointed by the economic loss, José Gómez was frustrated. But thanks to the advices of some friends, he decided to plant coffee in their lands.
