Name and Location of Farm:
Farm is located 36 kilometers from Ocotal, with a very pleasant climate in the mountain, with an altitude of 1350 meters above sea level in the range Dipilto-Jalapa, just 6 km from Nicaragua and Honduras border. The Farm has flora and fauna that only in this area we have and this zone is protected for the environment.
Tell us the story of your Farm:
I started working in the farm in 1973 because my parents inheritance to me in that year. In that time the farm was uncultivated with 30 blocks began with funding in 1975. Now I have 100 quintals with the varieties of Bourbón and Caturra. With 60% of shade, traditionally we are cultivating organic fertilizer on my farm.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
For me, the good operation in the cut and pulping, also time when I send the coffee to the mill.
How do you feel to be a winner?
First, blessed by God, glad for all the effort of not only myself also my family and the company (mill) that benefits our coffee
