This CWS started in 2004 and fully owned by one cooperative ABAKUNDAKAWA ba Rushashi. It is composed of 1,961 members where women account for 46%.It is located in Rushashi Sector, Gakenke District, Northern Province. In additional to their normal coffee related activities, they also support each other in their social activities as well with the aim of improving their lives from the income generated by the sold coffee. They have initiated other activities for women including sewing as another source of income, they pay school fees for around 80 kids in additional to the health care support to all membersIt operates under the following climatic conditions:
