EL AGUACATE is located in El Sauce, Sta. Barbara, Sta. Barbara, a region widely known for producing coffee as well as vegetables. Located on the eastern side of Santa Barbara Mountain National Park, this beautiful region offers a wide biodiversity of plants and wild animals. In this coffee region of Los Planes, located next to the Santa Barbara mountain, a company called Montana Verde is exporting coffee directly to Canada. This farm performs different coffee growing management activities such as: weed, pest & shade control, fertilizing, selective and sanitary trimming, manual harvesting and wet milling and drying.

What is the secret of your success?
Several factors contribute to meet ones goals, but the main one is your will to do things the right way. My responsibility and consistency in participation, as well as technical recommendations of experts on how to prepare my lots, manage my farm, harvest and process my coffee also contributed to my success. How do you feel being a winner of the Cup of Excellence Honduras 2010?It´s a great honor and were proud to participate and show Honduran coffee image internationally.
