*Farm History:
The San Ramon farm was acquired, In 2012 it was inherited by my father, he said it was a tough year since it was the year in which the disease known as rust was where I totally affect the coffee plantations in the area and I had to practically pruning the whole farm and starting from scratch with my own efforts, until I again manage to produce 18 quintals per manzana.
* Family Generations:
I started to get involved four years ago, since my father, because of his age, gave me the property to my power since then I am deeply involved in all the activities of the farm.
* What were the good practices that you implemented that made it the winner of the Cup of Excellence program?
Mainly agronomic management that has been given to the farm and another important factor is the collection, wet and dry benefit, and the establishment of varieties that by their nature give qualities.
* How does it feel to be one of the winners?
I am very happy because it is the first time I participate and with many expectations regarding the way they will see my coffee abroad and the price that I will get from it.
* In what will you invest the profits you obtain from the cup of excellence?
It will be invested in the management of the farm to be able to work without credits and make improvements in the infrastructure of the wet mill.
* Had you participated in the Cup of Excellence program before?
No.
* What do you think of the cup of excellence program?
I think it's very good because the producer is recognized for his efforts with a good final price
