With experience and the love of four generations in the coffee business, in 2009 we founded the Micro-Mill Altos del Abejonal located in San Pablo de León Cortés, Tarrazú.
This farm is set between 1830 and 1915 m.a.s.l.
Feeling proud of our highland coffee, our work is environmental friendly both in the farm and in the mill. Our coffee is 100% sun dried on African beds. By choosing carefully the coffee beans, we give an added value to our coffee; an effort that is reflected on getting a Cup of Excellence award.
The name of the farm Diviño Niño is out of our gratitude to God for saving the life of our son Mauricio who was very ill when he was born. He is now 18 years old and loves coffee; he is a certified barista by the Specialty Coffee Association of Costa Rica and ICAFE.
Our town is a very friendly and has its own rime:
In Santa María de Dota they keep,
In San Marcos of Tarrazu they invest,
And in San Pablo de Leon Cortés they have fun.
