* Farm History:
The farm is born of a trip to Los Angeles United States, its owner Mr. Heberto Rivas. The money he had for the purchase of the plane ticket he used it to buy the first plantation and this is how Finca los Angeles arises.
* Family generations:
I’m the first generation, but the family has been immersed in coffee from our great-grandparents in the years 1890
* What were the best practices that you implemented and what made you the winner of the Cup of Excellence program?
Since the beginning, Finca Los Angeles has had the same goal to produce quality coffee. We have achieved it by implementing: control and cutting. Measurement of Brix degrees. Excellent washing of the coffee with clean water siphoned and we take care of each one of the processes that takes from the nursery until its production and we produce in harmony with the environment
* How do you feel about being one of the winners?
I feel happy because the effort and dedication we have had dedicating a whole life to the golden bean for years was recognized.
* How will you invest the gains you get from the cup of excellence?
I'll invest them in the facilities of the farm that are used by our collaborators
* Have you participated in the Cup of Excellence program previously?
Never this year is my first time
* What do you think of the cup of Excellence program?
It is an excellent program as it promotes and drives the development of Nicaraguan coffee and is a window for producers that we strive to improve the production processes of our farms
