It is located in the canton "Los Planes" municipality of Citalá department of Chalatenango at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level.
The property has been in the possession of our family for 3 generations: The first generation at the beginning of the last century used it to graze livestock during the summer and the second generation planted small plots of corn, beans, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, garlic and a apple fruit such as orange, mountain bananas, avocado, peach and mango and as an alternative crop Arabica coffee for family consumption.
In 1990, with the help of Plan trifinio, 15 hectars of cypress trees were reforested with the objective of improving the environment, hence the name of the "El Cipresal" farm.
In 2015 a nursery of 6000 plants of pacamara variety was elaborated and planted in 3 manzanas.
