Overview
Javier Sanjuan Gomez, coffee farmer for tradition, he was born in Pitalito 43 years ago. Together with his wife Maria Elcira Galindez Ceron and his children Julian; veterinarian student, Gilary, Magali and the little Maria Paula, they support the farm familiar Bella Vista located in the rout that connect Pitalito Huila with Mocoa Putumayo, just 20 min. from the valley Laboyos where they go everyday to do the coffee labours. Their farm has three certifications and their commitment is to work hard to obtain a good quality coffee and to leave their children a legacy of honesty and work. Mr. San Juan is an activate member and founder of the associative group Cafe Andino. Today is the president of the Municipal Committee of Coffee Growers of Pitalito. At the same time hi is giving his as the transmission of coffee news though the services at the local radio. He has participated in three Cup of Excellence Competitions, being as a finalist in all of them; he says that without the god bless, the support of his family and the support of the Colombian coffee guild in whom he believes. His quote: I have such a special care with my product, so I use special sandals in the drying patio. Care of the Environment Because the farm Bella Vista is certified, you can bright a harmonic environment. The farm is located in the natural forest from the Macizo Colombiano mountains, there is specie of tree that is almost extinguishing its name Pino Colombiano or Romeron, but is his card of presentation because he has a space where he has a tunnel of wood with these trees. There is also a natural stream El Encanto and close to that there is a beautiful bamboo natural water birth, where his friends go to have niche chats with a cup of coffee. Process
