Overview
This producer came from the province of Camacho Escoma in 1990. Later, in 1992, she bought a lot with her husband, Santiago Mamani. They have been married 17 years. She has five children who are in elementary and high school. The children help during vacations and weekends. In the harvest season, she wakes very early to take on this arduous task. In the afternoon, she returns to collect the best grains harvested manually all the time. These grains are called painteds and over-ripes. Valentina feels great pride in her coffee because she knows that it is good coffee on account of the work she puts into it. She will invest the money that she earns from the competition in improving to her processing, including the construction of drying trays, expanding her plantations and in her childrens studies, as well as health and food. Organic compost from the discarded coffee pulp, the use of organic barriers, soil protection.
