History
I live in the village of Buesaquito in the municipality of Buesaco, Narino. My farm is 4 hectares which 3 are grown with coffee. I live here with my wife Maria, and my only son Jaime. My family is not the Typical big family but we live happy and all together take care of the crops.
Environmental Care
All the coffee crops are shade grown, such as, native trees and also fruity trees (orange, tangerine, plantain, avocado and banana). As the shade is very dense, there is a lot of wildlife. As it can be seen in the pictures, the farm is really ecologycal and all the family defends the natural resources.
Coffee Processing Information
The farm has an ecologycal beneficiadero, the coffee is fermented in the right time to avoid overfermentation of the beans, after this, the washing process is done with fresh water and we use the basketball field close to the house as a patio for the drying process.
