History
I, Jesus, was born in the Samaniego Municipality 41 years ago. The farm was originally from my parents and 20 years ago I bought it. My wife, Nelcy Villota, was born in the Valle del Cauca department, but she and her parents moved to Narino many years ago, we were neighbors and we got married 13 years ago. Now we have two daughters and we both work very hard in the farm.
Environmental Care
We have a septic tank for the liquid wastes. We use the pulp of the coffee as organic fertilizer and we dont apply chemical pesticides for pest control.
Coffee Processing Information
The fertilization is done twice per year with chemical products at a ratio of 70 grams per tree. Additionally we apply the pulp of the coffee. We do cultural control for broca (re re). The main crop in the farm is from April to June.
