Mr. Altemir Vieira dos Santos started planting coffee a short time ago, in the family agriculture system, as an income option. The property is in a privileged geographical location, in the city of Piata (BA), in the Chapada Diamantina region, at elevated altitudes where the temperature varies from 2º to 18º C in the winter.

Coffee processing system

The soil is adequately prepared for planting the seedlings. The harvest obeys the technical recommendations for obtaining quality beans; a selection is made with special attention to picking only the mature cherry beans. All necessary care is taken from the processing to the storage of all of the coffee that is produced.
