I am Jorge Armando Gutiérrez. Am 35 years old. I produce coffee in Guatales farm, located in Dipilto, Nueva Segovia. I have been a coffee farmer since I can remember growing on my father’s farm; cultivating coffee since my childhood. That is where I got the passion for this crop. Currently, I continue working, despite of the difficulties we have had for the last years; always working with love, trying to use environmentally friendly practices, such as avoiding herbicides for weed control. We try to harvest good quality coffee by selecting mature beans and a suitable treatment in the wet treatment. By doing so, I can assure that everyone enjoys a cup of coffee from my farm.
