Name and Location of Farm:
Located in Brujil community, in Macuelizo municipality, Nueva Segovia, in Dipilto-Jalapa range, my farm has a water source that is born on the farm leading to Macuelizo River, the farm has an area of 12 block of coffee production with forest area. The coffee varieties on my farm management are Maracaturra, the types of fertilizers used are Fertificafe and I have a 60% of shade, sewage water management as two filters to prevent spillage.
Tell us the story of your Farm:
It was an inheritance from 2 blocks from my father, the rest I bought it with my effort in the years 1993. The farm now has an area of 12 blocks at an altitude of 1250 meters above level sea. Producing 200 quintals of two varieties Caturra and Pacamara.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
My secret is worrying to get a good quality, only cut the mature bean, in the wet mill performed in a good wash and a dry spot to the dry mill.
How do you feel to be a winner?
First I thank God for giving me this great opportunity, also I am happy for this great merit and for having one of the best coffees in Nicaragua

Cup of Excellence is very important for us because the benefit to small and medium producers, also we improve the quality this gives us a great opportunity as producers of coffee.
Buena Vista
Name and Location of Farm:
The estate is located in the Ural community in San Fernando in Dipilto-Jalapa Mountains, this is a coffee zone. I am building a ranch house for my workers, I have a forest area of my farm has 14 blocks, 7 blocks with coffee all planted are Mara. Also Buena Vista has a biodiversity flora and fauna area because this area has not coffee.
Tell us the story of your Farm:
The farm bought in 1996 then was a Guatal and pine, little by little we had the farm ok we making the farm in planted to achieve the 7 block of coffee production with the funding of the bank and the coffee buyers. I have a total of 90 % percentage of the farm with Mara and the rest with Caturra.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
My secret is worrying to get a good quality, only cut the mature bean, good work in the wet mill and although that the dry mill is at 43 km I try to be punctual
How do you feel to be a winner?
First I thank God for giving me this great opportunity, also I am happy for this great merit and fulfill my dreams of being among the best coffee in Nicaragua .
