Short history of the farm:
FAZENDA OURO VERDE was transformed into an alternative for the family income of its owners at the end of the 80s when it was administered by the father-in-law of the previous owner, who learned the how to care for coffee. The farm is situated in Piatã in Chapada Diamantina, at approximately 1300 meters of elevation and average temperatures that vary between 2 and 17 degrees Celsius. Caring for the environment is a concern of the owner, which is demonstrated through the correct destination for pesticide packaging, in addition to planting trees in the areas around the property. Much care is required to produce high-quality coffee, from the appropriate preparation of the soil for planting the seedlings to the processing and storage of the beans. Producer Candido Rosa is mindful of new techniques for producing high quality coffee and seeks to invest in appropriate machinery so that the final result is always the best, always following the specialized technical guidance of AGRIPEC.
