The farm PALMIRA is in the populated center of HUMAPATA 3 hours apart from the province of CALCA, at 2000msl. The farm is an heritage from my parents, 6 hectares of land that we have been cultivating with different varieties like TYPICA and CATURRA, our approach is to be completely organic and to do so we are doing our own compost to fertilize our soil.
Since I was a child, I have helped my parents in the farm activities. Growing as a farmer allowed me to have a different perspective of my vocation as a coffee producer, the hard work and dedication, are the way we are going to get to a quality more sustainable product.
Nowadays I am part of the association VALLEINCA and I am learning a lot about process and how to improve the quality and to implement new technologies to get better results, this improvements took me this year to participate in CUP OF EXCELLENCE.
Coffee has been the support of my family and I have paid the education of my kids thanks to this industry.
