Overview:
I was born in the municipality of Chaparral on December 6th of 1970 in a very lovely and worker home. Since I was a baby I lived in the farm also called The Mirror but located in the village Potrerito de Chaparral where I worked with my parents and brothers during 30 years. I also worked some days in other farms and in that way I could save money along that time. When I was 25 years old I met a beautiful woman, Amparo Vera Salcedo, and I fell in love with her. That was the reason why I decided to buy my farm, to live with her, in the village El Silencio located in the municipality of San Antonio that was near the place where I lived my childhood and my young time. I called it as my parents one, The Mirror. Off course, that was possible with the results of an entire life of work and savings.
Likewise I continued working hard and with my wife we started planting coffee in the farm since it was cultivated with sugarcane. Time later, we had our son and that was an additional reason to move forward. Thanks to all that effort, I have now my farm of about 6 hectares and around 2 of them are planted with coffee. I will like to continue working in my farm my entire life, mend my little house, the beneficio and plant more coffee, send my child to study in college and improve my familys quality life. I also want to help in the village to have electric energy for all my neighbors and continue improving the quality of my coffee so that San Antonio can be recognized in Colombia and in the world as a quality coffee producer.
