The farm LA ESMERALDA is in the populated center of LA UNION, district of RIO TAMBO, province of SATIPO, region of JUNIN with an altitude of 1600msl. The year 2016 we acquire the farmland with an extension of 5ha. Our main goal always was to have a farm that was a different model, with this objective we have been improving our process, also we install a better coffee dryer to improve the quality. In our farm we developed different process like honey, washed and natural, our mission is to continue being better and being sustainable with our product.
The beginning of the production was at the year 2016, the farm was cultivated with old plants and was not having enough care. Nowadays our coffee plants changed for new GESHA and CATURRA, from which we obtain really good harvest in our 3 ha planted with coffee, we have implemented modern techniques and we are now receiving a fair price, what make us feel our hard work is being rewarded now that we produce high quality specialty coffee.
