La Farm La Tormenta (the storm) is located in Buenos Aires municipality Dipilto at an altitude of 1475-1500 meters above sea level boundary which divides Nicaragua and Honduras as an attractive mountain La Picona at a distance of 1 km with forest reserve with permanent water sources and tourist route into the program INTUR and this hill is 26 km from the head of Ocotal. Tell us the story of your farm: It was a family farm in the year of revolution for the debt was sold and buy to the Bank Bampro in 1999, then was an old coffee area and managed to increase the area with new plants of coffee with 12 acres. My production is 200 quintals. The varieties are mara, caturra, and catimor. Also I produced cassava, potato and corn. Family generations: The farm is a family because you help and support family education. Whats your secret for winning the competition? 1 - First of the best kept secret has been the belief in God. 2 - Good agricultural practices (picking and Wet Mill) 3 - Also a good preparation for picking 4 - Good handling in wet processing.

How do you feel to be a winner?

I thanked God because I benefit my family and that support will attend up my farm and meet the expenses of my family. I feel fortunate to have won a prize to keep producing the best coffee Dipilto and thus achieve the goals.
