* What were the best practices that you implemented and what made you the winner of the Cup of Excellence program?
Simply the result of a teamwork in which we try to improve day by day our quality on farm with staff highly committed to the quality of coffee and the commitment of our people to do things right, caring for our product and our Natural resources.
* How do you feel about being one of the winners?
Very proud to represent our coffee and our people because, thanks to them, their commitment and work has been possible to have this very important achievement for our department and our team, I appreciate the effort of our production manager in Finca Jimmy Valenzuela and his technical body, engineer Ismael Gonzalez and all our team who have made this achievement possible.
* How will you invest the gains you get from the cup of excellence?
We will invest in decent housing improvements for our collaborators and in support of improvements in the health services of our employees of the farm.
* Have you participated in the Cup of Excellence program previously?
Yes, this is the third year participating in the event but with other farms have obtained very good results.
* What do you think of the cup of Excellence program?
I consider a very good opportunity to show our coffees to the world, I think all producers must be committed one hundred twenty percent with this event and as coffee producers we must continue to promote and improve our cafes and Coffee from Nicaragua to achieve a greater acceptance and positioning of our coffees worldwide.
I thank the board and all the staff organizing this event to make possible the success of the same and encourage them to continue to keep our beloved Nicaraguan agriculture high.
