Name and Location of the Farm:
The farm Ojo de Agua is located in the region Ojo de Agua, in the Community of Buenos Aires, in the Municipality of Dipilto, Nueva Segovia. 4 Km west on the border between Nicaragua and Honduras , is an easily accessible and a pleasant.
The land is planted in bends, helping to soil conservation, are sandy loam soils, rich in organic matter while applications of organic fertilizers such as lombrihumos is done to help enrich the soil.
We have a variety of shade trees obtaining 60% of its shadow, an annual rainfall of between 1460 mosl, average temperature of 23 ° C, a micro clime that provide excellent quality coffee weather.

20 years ago, I acquired in this community I bought a plot of land of 4 Mz, it is next to another property Buenos Aires, on this farm we produce only Maracaturra variety, 80 Quintals we harvest.

My family consists of 5 members, me, my wife and my children.
What is your secret for winning the competition?
Firstly thank God, who has blessed us and given us the opportunity that Cafetalera Buenos Aires have a staff working in team efforts, with interest and vision based on the continuous improvement of our coffees.

Very happy, thank God, is a recognition to the work, effort, dedication and research of all processes always to improve the quality of our coffee.
