MURUNDO Coffee washing station has started operating in 2009 and it is located in Murundo Sector but it also extends its coffee field in Rwabisindu sector both in Nyamasheke District, and Western Province. It has been working with coffee farmers associations namely TWUBAKANE with 35 members. It does also assist farmers in the daily activity to support them to improve in their live hood in assisting the poor and awarding the best farmers with cows as an alternative source of income but also to get organic inputs (fertilizers).
