History of the Farm:
A small farm, inherited from my grandfather where my husband and I worked together with my uncle, Antônio Carlos, and two other workers (sharecroppers). We produced a little milk and harvested an average of around 250 bags per year. As the production is small, we seek to do a selective harvest and maintain the coffee cultivation culture in our region. We are very pleased with this recognition and excited to improve our conditions and equipment aimed at producing better and better coffees.
Concern about quality:
My grandfather was concerned with planting crops in high-elevation lands and with good spacing, which enables enough sunshine for each plant and ease of moving among them. The harvest is done by hand and is selective, given that our area is small and we do the process ourselves. We seek to reconcile the weather forecast with the dry period, in order for the coffee not to get rained on while on the patio. We make a great effort to separate the coffee lot by lot and preserve the characteristics of each one. We love what we do and think that this is the basis for everything.
