I was born in 1958, and I grew up in the village of Morritos, I am married to Blanca and we have two children, Wilmar who is 20 years and Dennis who is 26 years old. They both have studied in the college thanks to the coffee. My wife and me, received as inheritage different lots of coffee, we starting working in our own farm and right now we have 12000 coffee trees. My wife helps me with the accounts in the house.
All my life Ive been committed with the preservation of the natural resources and the environment. There is a natural source of fresh water in the farm, which I take special care of, with a wide area of native forest in the sides. I also have a small water deposit where I have fish for the house consumption.
Coffee Processing Information
I pick only ripe bean each 15 days. I depulp daily and fermentation takes in my farm about 12 hours. I use clean and fresh water from the natural source for washing the coffee several times. I use the patio for drying the coffee.
