Monte Copey Micromill is a family project, in which the passion and heritage of growing coffee began more than a half of century ago. Today we have become the fourth generation that continues this legacy that has been passed from generation to generation.
Every morning a hawk opens its wings and extends them over our coffee plantation that is why we call it EL HALCÓN. This farm is planted with Caturra variety and does not have much shade; this allows greater hours of light.
To ensure traceability and the quality of our cherries we taught the coffee collectors to pick up only the mature cherry and handle good practices of milling.
This is the third year El Halcón is among the finalists of Costa Rica Cup of Excellence.
