Overview
El Dragon is located in Parritilla de la Legua de Aserri, 1500 meter above sea level. Our father bought it in 1998, and he inspired us to follow his example as a coffee grower and from him we inherited the love for this industry. It has rich, balanced soils and pure airs with inclination to the Pacific. The rainy season goes from May until November and there is a very well defined dry season. We work the land with the help of Panamanian indigenous who help us during the harvest of this caturra variety, when it is on its ripest phase. The milling process takes place at the Beneficio La Lia de Tarrazu, and its a semi wash mechanical process and sun dried on the patios; every detail of the process is very well taken care of. After this, it is stored and left to rest in jute sacks. Hard work and a lot of care give us an excellent coffee recognized all around the world, that makes the country, the region and our family very proud.
