Wagner acquired the farm in 1994, but only began growing coffee in 1996. The farm measures 7 ha of which 3.5 are dedicated to coffee growing. The remaining land is split between bananas and peaches.
In 2018, Wagner's coffee achieved 92 points according to COCARIVE (Rio Verde Valley Coffee Producers' Cooperative). He was enchanted by people's reaction upon trying this coffee. As he did not yet know about specialty coffees, he began learning and dedicating himself intensely to production, seeking to produce beans of excellent quality.
The farm is run by him and his family and they work incessantly Sunday to Sunday. This love for coffee is reflected in the quality of the beans.
Situated in the mountainsous region of de Mantiqueira de Minas, the farm is in the city of Dom Vicoso, MG, with climate and soil favorable to the development of the coffee, contributing to a drink of extremely high quality. The fields are in an area with an average elevation of 1235 meters.
Due to the topography of the farm, the harvest is selective and manual. The beans are picked and taken on the same day to African beds, where slow drying occurs, taking around 40 days to reach the ideal humidity. As the producer is a member of COCARIVE, his coffee is produced and stored in the cooperative's warehouse.
