La Union With a privileged location that allows a magnificent view towards the Central Valley, is the property La Union, which has belonged to the family of Mrs. Maria Elena Camacho more than 50 years. Approximately half of this property is planted with coffee, trusting that the altitude above sea level and the good soil will produce high quality coffee beans. Nevertheless, and although indeed it produced coffee of great quality, the instability of the business took Mrs. Camacho and to her family to ask themselves about the future of this business. A year ago the family took the decision to retake with energy the property and its crop, betting for quality. In this property the family decided to build their own mill, with the purpose of guaranteeing the quality in all the processes. For Mrs. Camacho, the most difficult and rewarding at the same time was to remember the hard years of work of her grandfather and father. But, when she won the Cup of the Excellence it made her remember again, but with much joy and satisfaction, the efforts of her family during so many years, and seeing how the coffee blood even runs in her grandsons.
