History Found at 1,400 meters above sea level, combined with the different and magical minerals that our volcanic soil has to offer, our coffee plantation is located in the western part of El Salvador at the Apaneca_Ilamatepec Cordillera.
Our Coffee Plantation is home of part of El Salvador´s wildlife. Our coffee grows under the shadow of Pepeta, Cedar and Mahogany trees and shelters animals such as armadillos, wild cats, deer and many others. Finca la Dalia began in the early 1900´s with our dear Abraham Guillen who was better known by his grandchildren as “Papi Ian”. Abraham had one vision that was to produce El Salvador´s best coffee. With it he searched for the perfect land to achieve it. Having the ideal land to achieve his goal, Abraham decided to begin the marvelous adventure of growing, producing and commercializing coffee beans. Due to his enormous effort and the way he transmitted his vision to his workers Abraham received several prizes from different parts of the world for his impeccable coffee. The way we grow and produce coffee has been a tradition in the family. We always look up and aim for the best because that’s the way we were taught. Finca La Dalia follows a long tradition in producing coffee, becoming part of the most important agricultural sector of El Salvador.
